FOUND POEMS IN HONOR
OF DEAD COMEDIANS
INSTALLMENT #2

1.

I was enjoying
a father's day breakfast
last year at a hotel
in my town.

I looked
over my shoulder
and saw a
busboy.

This wasn't just any bus boy,
it was Marty Feldman.

His head was exactly
like Marty's, but he was
a little taller than
Marty.

When I got home that day
I conviced myself that
it wasn't really
Marty.

Then, a few months later,
I attended a wedding
at the same hotel.

To my disbelief
one of the caterers
was the same man,
Marty Feldman.

It probably wasn't him,
but I can't imagine
a person looking
any more similar to
Marty Feldman.

2.

I was alone
in our summerhouse.
A strange thing
happened to me.

I woke up
in the middle of the night,
hearing a voice
from the TV-room
underneath.

I grabed a knife
and went down
in my underwear,
prepared to encounter
a burglar.

A sharp light
was coming
from the TV-room,
I looked in and saw
Marty.

He was floating
around on a little shiny cloud
singing an ancient greek
or egyptian song.

I got scared
but soon I realized
that this must be a sign.

A few seconds later
he just dissappeared
and after that little event
I became a true believer of
Marty.
